Elgin, IL – July 2, 2021 – Perfecta Farm in Elgin, Illinois will host their annual Illinois Hunter Jumper Association (IHJA) B show August 5 - 8, 2021, at Ledges Sporting Horses in Roscoe to benefit the Midwest Dachshund Rescue (MDR). In addition to the great competition and prizes the horse show offers, there will be a raffle and silent auction of amazing items donated to raise funds for the rescue.
Trainer Kim Gardiner has been a supporter of the rescue for about nine years and has fostered numerous dogs for the rescue as well as adopting. Gardiner and her team have raised over $50,000 to date for the rescue, money that is desperately needed to help rescued dogs get the veterinary care they need so they can be re-homed to loving families. Thanks to generous donations of amazing items for the Perfecta Farm Raffle, Gardiner creates a win-win scenario for raffle ticket purchasers and the Midwest Dachshund Rescue.

In addition to the fundraiser, Gardiner along with trainers Mara Kranz-Olseng and Carmine D'Aversa, will put on a fabulous horse show for exhibitors with amazing prizes, plenty of championships, and fun competition. Special awards include Best Child Jumper Rider, Best Adult Jumper Rider, Leading Trainer Award, Leading Professional Rider, and the Sportsmanship Award. The competition includes classics for just about every division and a Grand Hunter Champion Award.
