The Perfecta Farm Show Helps Midwest Dachshund Rescue

Dachshunds are the real winners

Roscoe, IL- August 5, 2020 - Perfecta Farm wrapped up their annual horse show weekend at Ledges Sporting Horses in Roscoe, Illinois, with another over the top event filled with fun classes and amazing awards. In addition to all of the horse-related fun, it’s the Dachshunds that are the real winners, featuring a raffle filled with incredible items to raise funds for the Midwest Dachshund Rescue (MDR).

Perfecta Farm trainers Kim Gardiner, Mara Kranz-Olsen and Carmine D’Aversa are gracious

hosts, offering Grand Champion awards like no other show on the circuit. Their generosity is not only toward exhibitors, but to the rescue and to less fortunate riders with their Sponsor a Rider program. The special program allows riders the opportunity to show when they otherwise would not be able to have the experience due to financial restraints.

In addition to the fundraising and great prizes, the grand finale of the show on Sunday gives riders the opportunity to ride in the supersized grand prix ring. The day is filled with special classes including the $500 Perfecta Farm Hunter Derby, the $1,000 Chicago Equestrian Hunter Derby, the Perfecta Farm Equitation Classic, the Perfecta Farm Jumper Classic and not to forget, the Leadline Class!

Thank you to all who purchased raffle tickets, which raised over $10,000 for the rescue, surpassing their goal. Perfecta Farm has raised over $25,000 to date for the worthy cause. If you missed out on the fundraiser, you can still donate to the rescue by visiting their website here.

Perfecta Farm is an equestrian facility that caters to not only the serious show competitor but to the rider starting at the entry level. They attend both A and B shows as well as offering schooling shows at their facility. They have a summer camp program with daily riding lesson, crafts, and field trips to exciting horse venues.
