Showplace Productions and Marketing4Equestrians Present the 2023 IHJA B Finals Winners

Hunter Derby Series Awards Presented

Showplace Productions offers the Marketing4Equestrians Derby Finals and the IHJA "B" Medal Finals to prepare riders for future advanced championships. Photo Andrew Ryback Photography Roscoe, IL – September 18, 2023 – Showplace Productions hosted the Illinois Hunter Jumper Association's (IHJA) B Circuit Medal Finals and the Marketing4Equestrians Hunter Derby Finals, September 14-17, 2023, as part of the impressive finale to the local circuit lineup for the season. Showplace Productions prides itself on making every event for every level of riding a spectacular and memorable experience. The IHJA Finals is a favorite of competitors who look forward to the fantastic courses, fabulous awards, and victory gallops to celebrate the winners. IHJA hosted a lovely brunch for exhibitors and spectators during the medal classes. "We now have a way for our B-rated shows to have our exhibitors qualify for the USHJA Las Vegas National Championships through the USHJA Outreach classes. The Championships in Vegas include all riders from the grass-roots up to the highest FEI level show jumpers," Showplace's Patrick Boyle commented. "This is why we have always believed in running our IHJA B Rated shows at the same high level as all of our A-rated shows, so all of our riders and their horses will have seen and practiced everything they need to be confident when they step up to a higher level. The IHJA B circuit has always been a more affordable option for people starting out as they develop their skills before graduating to the A circuit." The season finale included the $1,000 Marketing4Equestrians Hunter Derby Finals along with bonus awards for Leading Horse, Leading Professional Rider, Leading Junior Rider, and Leading Amateur Rider. Marketing4Equestrians (formerly Chicago Equestrian) has supported the hunter derby experience for local riders since the inception of the class, offering riders a chance to experience a hunter derby at heights appropriate to their level of riding. Showplace Productions makes the derby finals possible while providing fun and exciting competition over beautifully designed courses in the Grand Prix arena. Marketing4Equestrians began in 2009 as Chicago Equestrian, reporting and promoting businesses and riders in the Midwest. It quickly grew to include businesses, horse shows, clinics, and barns across the country. Fourteen years later, Marketing4Equestrians provides numerous marketing ideas, media training, and professional skills to their clients. "I'd like to thank Showplace Productions for continuing to host the derby at every B show," said Brenda Mueller of Marketing4Equestrians. "It means a lot to me to see the derby available at all levels of experience. Everyone has to start somewhere and I've always been a fan of the local riders and trainers."
